mrs elizabeth choy was born in kudat,sabah on 29 november 1910 and died in singapore due to a pancreatic cancer.she was at that time a "prisoner of war" and then known as the "war heroine".she was tortured for being suspected a helper of british internees and was locked up for 200 days in a small cell.she refuse to tell the japanese anything about the british and nearly given up hope but two things "prayers and "faith" that kept her life going on.
